From the Kazan Engineering Bureau to a large electrical installation company in Tatarstan
The history of Tatelektromontazh JSC began on June 20, 1927 with the Kazan Engineering Bureau of the State Electrical Trust. Over the decades, the company has grown into a diversified structure that brings together installation departments, commissioning, production, design, logistics and specialist training.

Kazan Engineering Bureau
By order of the State Electric Trust, the Kazan Engineering Bureau was created, which became the historical basis of the future trust.
Creation of a trust
The Tatelektromontazh trust was formed. The structure included the Kazan installation department and the construction division in Bugulma.
Development of departments
The Almetyevsk, Second Kazan and Nizhnekamsk installation directions, as well as the Kazan commissioning department, were organized.
Production base
The Chelny installation department, production and technological equipment, a workshop for electrical installation workpieces and a mechanization department appeared.
New structure
The Elabuga Department, the Kazan Lighting Equipment Plant and a training center were created. In 1993, the trust was transformed into a joint-stock company.
Anniversaries and strengthening
The company passes 50-, 60- and 65-year milestones, developing construction and installation activities and construction management.

Over the years, the Almetyevsk, Bugulma, Nizhnekamsk, Chelny and Kazan installation divisions were established, along with the commissioning department.
The company’s development included production and technological supply, electrical installation prefabrication shops, a mechanization department and plant-based production areas.
The company’s experience is linked to industrial sites in Tatarstan, power facilities, metro systems, urban infrastructure and strategic projects in Russia and abroad.
