Scientific and Technical Services

✔ ✔ Calculations and analysis: We calculate short-circuit currents and 6-10 kV terminal voltages during motor start-up and select parameters for reactive power compensation devices.


✔ ✔ Reliability audit: We analyze power supply systems at operating facilities and prepare measures to upgrade relay protection, automation and uninterruptible power sources.

✔ ✔ Relay protection setup: We commission microprocessor protection functions, including thermal protection, imbalance and rotor blocking, with calculation and verification of settings.


✔ ✔ Voltage regulators: We supply and commission microprocessor-based automatic transformer voltage regulation systems.

Equipment and Measuring Instruments

The department uses modern mobile high-voltage electrical laboratories and automatic test systems "Shirla" and "VIOLA".

The equipment is used for very-low-frequency resonance testing of XLPE cables and accurate fault location.

Relay tomographs, high-voltage circuit-breaker monitoring instruments and diagnostic devices are used to assess insulation parameters.

Testing, Diagnostics and Equipment Support

The Kazan Commissioning Department performs a full range of adjustment, testing and engineering support for energy, industrial and infrastructure facilities: from checking individual units to commissioning complete process systems.

Testing and Inspections

  • repair, inspection and preventive testing of electrical equipment;
  • diagnostic measurements and technical condition assessment;
  • testing of grounding for electrical receivers and protective equipment;
  • measurement of insulation resistance, phase-to-neutral loop impedance and touch voltage.

Cable Lines and Substations

  • cable line fault location and restoration of operability;
  • replacement of electromechanical relays with microprocessor protection systems;
  • restoration of electromagnetic interlocking circuits at 110-220 kV substations;
  • fine-tuning process equipment to design modes and commissioning systems for industrial operation.

Engineering Support

  • calibration and repair of measuring instruments and test equipment;
  • preparation of cost estimates for electrical installation and commissioning works;
  • service maintenance of technically complex electrical equipment, including CNC machines;
  • design, assembly and testing of Legrand and Schneider Electric panels.

Methods, Test Benches and Training

The department uses mobile electrical laboratories, diagnostic instruments, relay tomographs and modern test systems. Mobile and stationary test benches are developed for commissioning works, while engineering personnel are trained in modern adjustment methods and microprocessor protection technologies by equipment manufacturers and at specialized seminars.
